Team Maryland Lacrosse Program Debut - Walked Away as Champions

Mount Holly, N.J.— Team Maryland Lacrosse program made a strong appearance at the Summer Slam Boys’ Lacrosse Tournament. The tournament brought over 100 teams to compete at Pemberton Township High School and the RVHS Sports Complex in Mount Holly, N.J. on June 22nd and 23rd.
Three of Team Maryland Lacrosse Team’s four teams participated in the tournament. The 2014 Premier team left the Summer Slam with a 3-1 record and the 2016 team went 2-1-1. The 2015 team was named tournament champions and boasted a 4-1-1 record.
Coach Brad Barber, 2015 Head Coach, was pleased with the program’s performance. “The Summer Slam was an extremely fun weekend and all of our teams represented our program well,” said Barber, “I saw tremendous growth from our first practice of the year and I am looking forward to seeing what the rest of the summer will bring.”
All four Team Maryland Lacrosse Teams will make their next tournament appearance in Malvern, Penn., at the Hogan’s Hero Lacrosse Tournament on June 29.
